We are a new church in the Port Coquitlam area committed to helping people connect with God and each other. In our society people are becoming more and more disconnected from God and one another. At Ridgemont worship is designed to help draw people near to God through contemporary music and practical messages from the Bible that address life in the 21st Century. Helping intoduce people to the awesome presence of God in culturally relevant worship expressions is important at Ridgemont.
For those people who do not know Jesus personally, we are committed to connecting and reaching out to them with the love and power of Jesus. Any who feel disconnected from God or his people will find a grace filled community where different people can come together in authentic Biblical community. Personal prayer is offered in our services for anyone with a physical, emotional or spiritual need.
In this time of disconnection and fragmentation in our society, people need help connecting with each other. Ridgemont is a meeting place where in a friendly, casual atmosphere people can form deep and close friendships. Social and emotional development occurs through small, relational groups meeting in homes and other places. Ridgemont seeks to provide people a safe place where they can care for one another and have their needs met.
